Choose one our ours and get ready for an experience that will change you, leaving you feeling grounded and accomplished.

Sleep Where Most People Only Visit.

A day hike in the Grand Canyon is one thing. Spending the night down there is something else entirely. The canyon at dusk, the silence at 3 a.m., the first light hitting the walls before anyone else is awake — that's the part you can't get from the rim.

We offer three different overnight experiences, each suited to a different kind of hiker.

Three Ways to Experience the Canyon Overnight

Option 1: The Intro — 1 Night

Bright Angel Trail down to Havasupai Gardens. Set up camp, sleep under canyon walls, hike out the next morning.

This is the right trip for first-time backpackers or anyone who wants a real taste of canyon backpacking without a multi-day commitment. You'll come out tired, proud, and probably planning the next one.

Option 2: The Classic — 2 Nights

Bright Angel Trail to the Colorado River. One night at Bright Angel Campground, with a day to rest, swim, and explore the inner canyon before starting the climb out. Night 2 is Havasupai Gardens before taking our time reaching the surface.

This is the iconic Grand Canyon backpacking experience. If you've dreamed of standing at the river looking up at both rims, this is the trip.

Option 3: The Hermit Trail Loop — 3 Nights

A less-traveled route through the Hermit area on the western side of the South Rim. Quieter, more rugged, technically harder. Fewer people, more raw canyon. For experienced backpackers only — the trail is rougher and the route demands more.

Who It's For

Different trips for different hikers. The one-nighter welcomes first-time backpackers. The two-night classic suits anyone in solid hiking shape who's done overnights before. The Hermit Loop is for experienced backpackers who can handle remote terrain and a heavier effort.

We'll help you figure out which one fits.

Custom Dates & Small Groups

All trips run by inquiry. Permit windows shape the schedule, so the earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have. Small groups — typically 4 to 8. Pricing varies by trip and group size.
